After the Wall in South Dakota, we stopped for a few hours to see the Crazy House Monument. This exceeded our expectations. We took the $5 bus ride up to the base of the monument to take pictures. The monument is carved out of granite, and Pam grabbed a stone blasted from the mountain.
We “Boondocked” for free on the edge of the Badlands Wall on Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property. We were able to grab one of the only level sites and enjoyed an evening of storms rolling through.
The views were great, the drone video below shows where we were camped on the edge of the canyon.
As we posted before, we traded in our 33 foot Airstream Classic trailer and Ford F250 truck for a Class B Airstream Atlas and 2022 Jeep. We flat tow the Jeep behind the RV, ready for adventure. We went from a total of 56 feet down to 42.
We have a Starlink Mini, so we should be connected to the internet for the whole trip.
I will try to post weekly with pictures and updates.
