We spent 4 days in Green Bay on our way to the UP of Michigan. We stayed at the Brown County Reforestation Camp Campground. A well-run government campground. Large sites and nice amenities.
Our first day we toured Title Town and then took the 2-hour Legendary Stadium Tour. Fantastic. We saw the entire stadium including the Visitors Locker Room, Broadcast Booth, a couple of suites and the roof. We then went out the tunnel to the field.
We watched the first half of the Packers / Bears game at Lambeau field / 1919 Kitchen & Tap. We watched the second half at the Hinterland Brewer in Title Town.

In August, we traveled to the Madison, WI area for the Eat Drink and Yodel! Rally. Pam volunteered to write an article for newsletter. Click here to read.
We visited the National Historic Cheesemaking Center Museum and the Imobersteg Cheese factory. We went to the Alp and Dell cheese store connected to the Emmi Roth Cheese Factory. The next day, the group toured a dairy farm. Kelly went golfing at Monroe Golf Club. That evening we toured Turner Hall and then had dinner there with our special guest – Uncle Bob!

We spent the past week relaxing on Dauphin Island in Alabama. This is a nice, quiet island get away. We are staying at the Pelican Nest RV & Campground. A small RV park across the street from the beach.
We have enjoyed walking on the beach on the nice days, and relaxing on the rainy days. We rented bikes 1 day and rode to the west end of the island. We also drove to the east end of the island and enjoyed the bird sanctuary at Shell Mound Park.
Sunday, we head to Florida for 4 final days of beach time before heading north.

We stopped by in Monroe to see Pam’s great Aunt Lilian and Bob. It was a very nice visit. They were our last visit heading home in the Spring and our first visit heading out. Looking forward to stopping by in the spring again.
We used our Harvest Host membership to once again stay 1 night at Hawk’s Mill Winery where we stayed in the spring. Upon arrival, Tracy remembered us from the spring, and welcomed us in. She made fantastic flat bread pizzas and the wine was great again. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of “Happy Camper” wine and a bottle of Rose.
If you are in the area, we highly recommend stopping in!
