I stitched together our decals showing the order in the states we have visited. I little jumpy because I did not take the same angle every time.

For a treat, we decided to stay 5 nights at Hilton Head National RV Resort. It is actually not on the island proper, but in Bluffton, SC. We are in site 213. The resort opened in February, so it is brand new. This is the highest quality RV resort we have ever stayed in, and the post expensive at $110 / night.
The sites are perfect. Beautiful concrete slabs with all amenities and great facilities. The pool is fantastic with a lazy river. The bathrooms are marble and spacious. Pam loves the laundry facilities. Click for a map of the resort.

We visited the Kingsley Plantation outside of Jacksonville, Florida (a national park) and took the audio tour of the property. It is a very interesting story in history; a little different than what we think of the history books. A humbling experience to see how the slave life was when Florida was owned by the Spanish and later when Florida became a United States Territory.
Here is a link to a brief overview
After visiting the plantation, we went to the Sandollar Restaurant for a drink and snack before taking the St. John’s River Ferry over the river.
A fun and educational day.

This week, we traveled 300 miles East to Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in Jacksonville, FL. Tucked into the jungle. Site 58 with full hookups for $30/day. The park is on a freshwater lake and the Pasific Ocean.
The foliage is thick and there are alligators! Lots to do – click here for a map
Tuesday, we rode our bikes 8 miles on the Beach; it is huge and very long. Going north, we ran into a military “Do Not Enter” sign, so we turned around.
