Edge of the Cedars Museum

Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum. A village inhabited by the ancestors of contemporary Puebloan peoples from AD 825 to 1225, and climb down a ladder to enter the 1,000-year-old kiva. View the largest collection of Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi) pottery on display in the Four Corners area. Enjoy programs for adults and children, including archaeology and art exhibitions. Our goal is to inspire and educate museum visitors about the prehistoric and contemporary American Indian cultures of the Four Corners region.

Boondocking @ Goosenecks State Park

Best campsite ever for $10 a night. Dry camping / boondocking (no hookups). Solar Suitcase is filling the batteries. Here for 2 nights. San Juan River is 1,000 feet below. Able to listen to the Masters while enjoying a beer  life is good, very good!

Kanab / Johnson Canyon

We took a drive to Kanab Utah after work. Very nice visitor center with lots of helpful info. If in the area, stop by and make a plan. We decided to take the Johnson Canyon Driving Tour. Fun. Say the old Gunsmoke Movie Set (in ruin).

Horseshoe Sunset

Pam and I went back to horseshoe for sunset. We took a long hike north, and built a few stone piles. Very nice.
