Chiricahua National Monument

Echo Canyon Loop is a 4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Willcox, Arizona that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, and bird watching and is accessible year-round.

The trail is in the Chiricahua National Monument Park. Fantastic views and great rock formations. So different than anything else we have seen. If you are in the area, you need to get here. The trail is above 6,000 feet, so it was a bit cold and there was snow (our first of the season – and last we hope).

We did the moderate 4 mile loop, but next time we need to do the Big Loop, so we can see Bog Balanced Rock and Pinnacle Balanced Rock on the trails.

We took lots of pictures below, but they do not do justice to the beauty of this place! Click here for photos from the Park’s webpage.
