Caravan Stop #3: 255 Miles: Coal River RV Park. On the drive, we say real mountain goats knocking rocks onto the road and stopped for Cinnamon Buns.

We camped in an open field and created a huge “Wagon Wheel” with 25 Airstream campers facing out. It was a 120-foot circle on the outside of the ring.

We were only there for 2 nights, where we did a Hobo Cookout in the center of ring. RV’s were spaced 13 feet apart on the inner ring. Really Cool.

We visited the Liard Hot Springs which was very nice. Very hot at the beginning of the spring and cooled down to bath water temperatures at the end. A bit stinky for Pam, but enjoyable. We encountered a bear on the side of the road, who turned and walked straight at our jeep. Very up close and personal
