After the house tour, we had a nice lunch at the Stables Cafe and then toured the extensive gardens and green houses. For dessert, we had fantastic Bon-Bon’s from the confectionary shop.
Next, we split a grilled cheese sandwich at Cedric’s Tavern along with a glass of local beer. We finished the day with a free wine tasting at the Biltmore Winery (bought 3 bottles, so not completely free). We were able to sample 5 wines.
All on all a great / long day. This is a must see in you are in the area.

WOW, That was extraordinary. I cannot remember ever having so many delicious dishes to choose from and doing my best to sample as many as possible. Sweet experience that I’d definitely do again.
And the company wasn’t bad either.
