House: August Update

I took a couple of weeks off from posting due to not so much to see. Most of the work was inside. Rough in for Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC were done early in the month. Barry and I pulled all the ethernet and TV Coaxial Cables.

We attempted to drill the water well, but after 260 feet and a few challenges, Steve the well guy decided to give up and will abandon the well. He will try again after Labor Day. Very frustrating, but things happen.

The garage floor was poured, and walls were insulated. Drywall has been hung, and 3 coats of “Mud” have been applied. Ceiling Insulation was blown a few days ago.

Siding on the West, North and East walls is done. South side will be finished early next week. Stone has been installed on the lower portion of the fireplace chimney.
