On Wednesday, we drove 107 miles to Mountain View RV Park in Baker City, Oregon (our 25th State). Another very nice park with full hookups and nice, shaded sites; we had site 101. We arrived early to be the “Parkers” to help the other 11 campers get to their sites; there were no issues.

The park has a nice General Store, very good laundry and shower facilities. A pool and a spa. All very nice. Very quiet on the north end of town.

Wednesday evening, we had dinner at Paizano’s Pizza. We really enjoyed the Lumberjack Pizza and beer. Josh served us and gave us good ideas on what to see in the area. Very helpful. While eating, a guy picked up his family dinner packing heat.

On Thursday, we had lunch at the “Little Pig“. The food was very good. They roast their own coffee so we picked up a bag of beans. The people were super friendly, and we really enjoyed it.

Friday morning, we went to the Sweet Wife Bakery for breakfast. The food was outstanding. We shared a sticky bun as a breakfast appetizer; Pam had the Quiche and Kelly had the breakfast plate. Both were great. Pam loved her Capuchino.

On Friday, after our hike, the group had dinner at the Haines Steakhouse. They have a great salad bar and the steaks were quite good and we thought the prices were reasonable.
