Bold Spoon Creamery

We added another new state – Missouri by staying at the Bold Spoon Creamery in Park Hills, MO.

Another great Harvest Host location. Cory and Rachel have a great business in a fantastic location. We strongly recommend stopping by. Oh, and you need to meet Flash!

Make sure you have lots of room in your freezer, so you and get every flavor. We only had room for 4 in our tiny freezer, but what a treat!

Lacey Keosauqua State Park

What a nice state park here in Iowa – another new State for us! We have a great site for $15/day with water and 50amsp electrical service.

Keosauqua is the local town. Very cute and quaint. Had lunch at Misty’s Malt shop.

We visited the next own over – Bentonsport. It may very well be the smallest village we have ever been in at 35 acres and 40 residents. We walked the old bridge over the Des Moines River.

Monroe, WI

We stopped by in Monroe to see Pam’s great Aunt Lilian and Bob. It was a very nice visit. They were our last visit heading home in the Spring and our first visit heading out. Looking forward to stopping by in the spring again.

We used our Harvest Host membership to once again stay 1 night at Hawk’s Mill Winery where we stayed in the spring. Upon arrival, Tracy remembered us from the spring, and welcomed us in. She made fantastic flat bread pizzas and the wine was great again. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of “Happy Camper” wine and a bottle of Rose.

If you are in the area, we highly recommend stopping in!

Airstream Upgrades

Over the past couple of months, we upgraded a few items. These are detailed on our equipment pages:

We changed our dinette table to a smaller oak table that allows for seating along the back.

New Table

We doubled our battery capacity and added 600 watts of solar on the roof. Our inverter is now 3000 watts so we are ready to go off grid for weeks at a time.

Ride1Up eBikes.

We added these 2 bikes so we can easily get around camp grounds and cities where we visit.
