We cut local wood from the brush pile to have a nice fire last night. Our neighbor, Neil, stopped by for a beer and nice conversation. It was a little chilly, but the wind died down.

Pam and I went into the small town of Sonita. Took care of some chores (Propane and an haircut); We then went to the Copper Brothel Brewery for Lunch. It was great. The food is very good, and the beer is outstanding. We tasted 2 flights (8 bears). Each beer has its own poster / art work. Very Fun.

Today, we arrived at our first boondocking / dry camping location (no hookups – electricity, water or sewer). It is in the hilly grasslands an hour southeast of Tucson. We have not attemted more than 1 night before. Our goal is to stay 4 nights.
We have the solar suitcase I built. It can supply as much as 190watts in the bright sunshine.
We are in the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area which has free camping and is a working ranch where the cattle roam free!

We had a nice day visiting these 2 towns. In Bisbee, we had a beer and a pretzel at the Old Bisbee Brewery. The pretzel is made out of the used barley from the brewing process. Actually quite good.
In Tombstone, we ran into Tom Trost (old Doboy colleague). He was standing in the doorway of a shop. He recognized me with my mask on. Wow – What a small world.
Visited Doc Holiday Saloon – Had a shot of whiskey and a beer. I enjoyed the beer so much, we walked to the Tombstone brewery to buy some. Unfortunately, they ran out. We got a flight of 4 beers. Ended up buying 4 cans to bring home to Wisconsin.
